Since I have not been able to find the time to work on this page to the specks I want, I will, for the meantime, post photos of rescued animals. This way, you can come here and at least enjoy some photos and maybe even some accompaning stories to go with the rescues.
If anybody has the time and skill to work on webites and would be willing to help get this together, please contact me JPotash@WildlifeRescue.com to discuss the details.

Let me start by showing you of our more recent newspaper articles printed in the Reno-Gazette Journal on July 8, 1999.

And here is another interesting tid-bit about our encounter with Elvira the Alligator.

    American Kestral

This poor bird was likely hit by a car.
This bird came to find me by sitting on top of a car parked in front of mine outside the University of Nevada, Reno.

Northern Saw Whet owl

This owl had an unfortunate chance meeting with a car similar to the Kestral above, but this one couldn't afford the University, so he was found up by Truckee Meadows Community College.

Mountain Lion

Here we are with members of the Nevada Division of Wildlife and Washoe County Sherriffs Dept. transporting a mountain lion out of someones garage after it had been tranquilized. There will be more about this under our News section when we get that finished. Following are a couple pics of the release.

Never fear...there will be more to come!
